JOHN 21:18-25.

Jesus told Peter how he would glorify God through His death. He would be dragged to where he didn't want to go. He would be executed

He told him to follow Him.

Even today, God may allow His disciples to go through suffering and difficulties, but in the midst of them, the only thing He says is, "Follow me". Don't let what you are going through distract you from seeing Jesus and walking in His footsteps.

Peter looked at John and asked Jesus, what about Him. His concern was, to also know what kind of death he would die. Should he be allowed to suffer alone or should he have a partner in the suffering. Would John die peacefully?

Jesus asked him how John would die, whether peaceful or tormented like Peter. He told him to mind His own business.

He asked how it concerned how John was to die, and Even if he decides wouldn't die, how did it concern him.

Only one thing he was to do, and that is to follow Jesus.

This is what God says today to many of His children. When God allows one to go through difficulties, and another child of God , everything seems to go on well and ones suffering begin to question why? Why should he not suffer as me, why only me?

How does it concern you how God treat others of His children, and why He doesn't allow them go through what you go through. Mind your own business. Follow Jesus. Don't be distracted by the lives of others and why they don't experience what you experience.

Let your eyes see Jesus only, follow Him wherever He leads you, whether through valleys and mountains, or through smooth road, you Follow Him. Don't be distracted.

Peter remembering this incident wrote in `1Pet 4:14, But let none of you suffer ...as a busybody in other men's matters.... prying into other people’s affairs.`

Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written.

What is written is sufficient for our lives on earth.

The call is follow Jesus.

Are you following Jesus or does the lives of others distract.

Is what God allowing you to go through distracting you from the vision of Jesus?

Don't lose the vision of Jesus before your eyes.

You are blessed to be a blessing
