As we continue, it's good to remember that if you want to fight with the devil and overcome, you must decide to never fight with any human being or argue about anything. Learn to fight on your knees.
4. THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS
This is another weapon that silences the accusations of the devil.
Rev 12:10b-11.The accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.
We see here that the way to overcome the devil's accusations is is by the blood of Jesus and the testimony in our mouth.
For example, the devil accused us to God and to ourselves, reminding us of our past sins. When you want to pray, for example, he may remind you of all the evil you have committed and tell you that God will not listen to you. This he does in our thoughts. That is the time to speak to him and tell him that the blood of Jesus has cleansed you of all your sins, if you have repented of them already. You have to speak to the devil when he accuses you.
There is a story of a servant of God in the last centuries, who one day the devil appeared to him and wrote on a board all the sins he ever committed. The board was filled and the devil stopped writing, then told the devil that he had not written all the sins that he should continue writing, and after writing all of them, he should write at the end, 'The Blood Of Jesus Had Cleansed Me From All My Sins'.
This is the way to overcome satan accusations.
The purpose of these accusations is to make you feel depressed and discouraged and give on God, but learn to overcome this accusations by the blood of the Lamb.
4. CONFESSING GODS PROMISES IN HIS WORD.
Heb 10:23
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
This verse encourages us to continue make confessions of God's promises over our life because He who promised is faithful. Believing and confessing Gods promises act as a shield against the enemies attacks. Eph 6:16.
When the devil throwd the darts of fear and discouragement, confess God's promises, like God will never leave me, nor forsake me, He knows every detail of what is happening to me. Heb 13:5-6
When you are faced with various trials and the devil tells you there is no hope, confess the promise, that God will not allow me to be tempted beyond my ability, and for every temptation He will make a way of escape, or God makes all things to work together for good to those who love Him and are called to His purpose. 1Cor 10:13, Rom 8:28.
When there are attacks all over you, confess that no weapon fashioned against you shall prevail, and when the enemy comes one way, God will scatter him in 7 directions, and when he comes as flood, God will raise a standard against him. Isaiah 54:17, 59:19, Deut 28:7
When he tells you will die, confess that you will not die but live see the goodness of God. Ps 118:17
When he tells you that God has given up on you, say that God's loved you when you were a sinner and sent Jesus to die for your sins and He still loves you.
It's important to note that the devil does not hear our thoughts, that is why we MUST confess God's promises, not only in prayer, but when the the devil throws those thoughts in our mind.
For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.
We see that we have to say amen to God's promises. The promises are not to be admired, but we receive them by saying it shall be true in my life. You have to say it. You have to speak that it will be true in my life.
Stop admiring God's promises. Partake of them by declaring that it is your portion in Jesus Name.
Heb 3:1
Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession;
Here Jesus is called THE HIGH PRIEST OF OUR CONFESSION.
We know Jesus as our high priest, He prays for us, but we know specifically what the prayer items He takes to God are, OUR CONFESSIONS. Yes, He is the high priest of our confession. Don't underestimate the power of your confessions, Jesus joins you in them by praying to the Father using your confessions.
For example, when you confess no weapon fashioned against you shall prevail, Jesus tells that Father to send protection to you because His word cannot fail, that which you have confessed.
Heb 4:14
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
